Breed and Educate is based on a collaboration between the Hector Peterson School in Berlin-Kreuzberg and HAU Hebbel am Ufer. In numerous task-related rehearsals, eight pupils between 11 and 13 years explore and perform the possibilities of self-education. How should lessons be organized in times of network and algorithm-based learning? What happens when the relationship between control and self-empowerment in educational systems is inverted by postmigrant pupils who breed toy robots, are educated by them, and vice versa?
