Dagmar Schultz is a sociologist, author, filmmaker of the documentary Audre Lorde – The Berlin Years 1984 to 1992, world premiere at the Berlinale 2012, shown at 75 festivals all over the world. Schultz produced the doc Hope in My Heart. The May Ayim Story and created archives for Lorde and for Ayim at the Freie Universität Berlin. In 2016 Schultz produced the Audre Lorde in Berlin Online Journey to places at which Lorde worked, lived and spent leisure time with video and audio documents.
