Research Networks
Research Networks
This mini-marathon of talks is the outcome of a research workshop organized by transmediale and Aarhus University, in cooperation with the Global Emergent Media (GEM) Lab in Montréal. Via a mailing list run by the journal APRJA, and over two days at the Embassy of Canada in Berlin, the RESEARCH NETWORKS workshop closely followed the theme of this year’s festival, questioning the pervasiveness of networks and their limits in research. In this festival event, participants interrogate networks in contemporary media and digital culture, including aspects such as borders, geopolitics, indexing, and narratives.
