Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a harassment and discrimination-free festival experience for everyone regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, race, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, physical appearance, body size, age, religion, socioeconomic status, birthplace or any other line of oppression. No one should feel excluded, intimidated or unsafe at our events. To this end, all attendees, participants, and volunteers at our festival are required to comply with our code of conduct. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcomed sexual attention, or violent behavior in any form. We will implement this policy throughout the festival and we expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody at all festival venues and festival-related social events. I was harassed or felt discriminated against at a Festival event. Who can I talk to? What can I do?
We work within our team and our venue partners to ensure that our festival is inclusive, safe, and welcoming for the most diverse public possible. If you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation at any festival event, please approach our info counter or our volunteers. You can also send us a direct message to our telegram @transmediale_team. Reports can be submitted anonymously or with identifying information. All reports will be treated seriously, confidential and responded to promptly. We work within our team to better our infrastructure to provide comprehensive help. We continue to do our best to make sure we learn from any feedback, incidents, or mistakes to make sure they will not happen again.
